We have a fantastic opportunity for an experienced Web Developer to join our digital team. Based in our CBD office, this position will involve the ongoing development of variety of existing websites within the Bible Society Australia family, as well as the chance to create and innovate with exciting new projects for 2019. You have a passion for creating websites and digital experiences that delight users. You have significant empathy for users and a desire to build solutions that solve real problems as we work together to achieve our strategic goals in an agile environment.  You are always up to date with the latest in web technology, are a creative problem solver and ready to take on new challenges big or small. Bible Society Australia (BSA) is a national group, which includes Eternity News, Centre for Public Christianity and Koorong Role Specifics: Key responsibilities will include: Working with product / UX / design to build prototypes and interfaces from wireframes and designs Writing high quality code and supporting documentation to produce user facing websites and applications Wordpress CMS & supporting PHP development Researching problems and finding creative solutions Key Criteria: Advanced HTML / Javascript (inc ES6 + other frameworks) / CSS (inc Foundation) Wordpress – custom themes & plugins backed with strong PHP coding skills Confident working with third party APIs and exploring new technologies Excellent communication and organisational skills, self motivated and able to work independently The successful applicant must also have a keen eye for detail, an investigative mind, and the ability to promptly identify and solve problems.
