Narraweena church was founded in the 1950s and now has an ageing population in a mixed culture environment. Membership has now dropped to 50. Most attendees aged over 75 live in aged-care or retirement villages. A few around 10-15 are in the age group of 50-70. All of the older attendees are dynamically involved in Bible-based study and fellowship and one-to-one pastoral ministry in sending meals and providing transport for those unable to drive. We are physically unable to engage in planned outreach or work actively for larger events. Our ministries include caring for the sick at home or at hospital. Share our provisions with the poor through relevant organizations and distribute bread to the community. We are actively involved with the Samaritan’s purse, Baptist Mission Australia and Baptist World Aid and BaptistCare.
