Exchange Church is an evangelical church situated in regional Victoria in the provincial city of Shepparton, with a vision to connect people to Jesus and to grow people in Jesus as healthy flourishing disciples. Shepparton is a city that’s located in northern Victoria in a growing regional country area ear marked by the Victorian government for major expansion. The church was planted in 2011 and by God’s grace we now have 100 people gathering each Sunday. Exchange Church is a part of the FIEC fellowship of churches, a growing movement of reformed evangelicals where we get great support and encouragement.

We are seeking to grow our staff team by putting on an Associate Pastor to head up our Youth ministry and Next Steps discipleship pathways. This is a 0.6 position looking to grow to full time as quickly as we can. We have a Youth ministry that is ripe for growing teenagers to live out the gospel strongly in a challenging context. Alongside our Youth work we also want to develop our Next Steps discipleship program to help see people become followers of Jesus. This program works with Christianity Explored and a follow up of Discipleship Explored to see people come into a living and loving relationship with Jesus.

We carefully foster a team environment where we are all working together with our existing volunteers to further the cause of Christ through Spirit empowered proclamation of the gospel.
