The Glory Methodist Church is part of Chinese Methodist Church in Australia (CMCA) based in Melbourne. Our mission statement is "Follow Jesus, make disciple". The theology of the Church is in line with Methodism worldwide. It is Wesleyan in theology, and its liturgy contains both traditional and contemporary services.
On May 6, 2012, Camberwell Chinese Methodist Church sent a few families to start a Preaching Point called Knox Preaching Point in Knox neighbourhood. The worship services were held at 1393 High Street Road, Wantirna South. (borrowing the premises from the Church of The Nazarene). The objective is to serve God in the Knox community and bring the gospel to the surrounding neighbourhood.
In November 2015, CMCA Annual Conference approved Knox Preaching Point as a Church. In January 2016, it was officially declared as a church and named Glory Methodist Church. We currently have 110 attendance to Chinese Worship Service and 40 attendance to English Worship Service. Total of 8 small groups that comes together studying bible regularly. Prayer meeting held weekly.
