Westlakes Baptist Church is an independent church, not affiliated with any denominational group.  We are committed to loving God and others, and have a burden for reaching people for Christ - in our local area and around the world.  While we have a nice building to meet in, our church is about the people.  A family of believers who care for each other as well as those in the community.  Our faith is grounded in the Scriptures, and they provide the content of our teaching and preaching.  In our worship we seek to be genuine in expressing our love and adoration for the Lord, with meaningful and Scriptural content which is encouraging to the congregation and points them to God.  While it is generally contemporary in style, we also utilise traditional hymns, and the style varies from time to time.
