The Barbara May Foundation (BMF) was established in 2009 and over the last 14 years has developed trusted relationships, established, and funded operations providing safe birth for thousands of women and babies every year.

The Foundation works to address entrenched disadvantages in childbirth, preventing and treating maternal fistula injuries.
