IJM Australia, established in 2014, partners with IJM Global to deliver justice programs overseas and grow the movement of Australians seeking justice for the oppressed. The Job Position

The Chief Marketing and Partnerships Officer (CMPO) will be our ‘Customer Champion’ and work closely with the Chief Executive Officer (CEO) to ensure IJM Australia achieves its goals. The CMPO drives deep customer engagement and is responsible for IJM Australia’s activities that create, communicate and deliver offerings that have value for our partners and supporters.

The CMPO is part of and collaborates with the Executive Team to lead the strategic growth of the organization.

The success of this role is measured by these key result areas:

  • Widen and strengthen our brand and products to engage our key strategic audiences (stated below), mobilise champions and generate sustainable funding with
    • DFAT
    • Corporates
    • Individual donors
    • Christians
    • Federal and NSW Members of Parliament
  • Mobilise the Australian church to fight for justice
  • Inspire Australians to understand the urgency of slavery and IJM’s solution
  • Convert existing key or major supporters to deep and long term partners
  • Unlock true potential and increase donor-giving through effective CRM management
  • Effectively lead a team of 12 by crafting and implementing clear objectives and priorities

Skills, Experience and Attributes

To be successful in this position you will have:

 

  • A deep conviction for justice and ending slavery
  • Bachelor’s degree in marketing or a related discipline
  • Minimum of 5 years’ leadership experience in successful brand management, partnership development and CRM
  • Demonstrated leadership capacity
  • Proven track record of fundraising through marketing channels and strategic partnerships
  • Strong experiences in developing and implementing marketing and partnership strategy and positioning an organisation to achieve tangible outcomes
  • Experiences in managing, tracking and reporting on financial efforts
  • Excellent writing, editing, presentation and research skills
  • Strong creative and digital outlook
