The Salvation Army is seeking to employ a Children's Secretary to strengthen current, emerging and future ministry practice in toddlers and children's ministry in Tasmania.
The Children’s Secretary will assist leaders within their division/ region to:
Create Jesus-centred communities
Listen to the voice of children
Teach and disciple
Nurture partnerships with families
Foster networks - with schools and a range of community agencies

HOURS AND SALARY
This is a full time, 2 year maximum term position based in Derwent Park, Tasmania.
This is an Award Free position.
IDEAL CANDIDATE WILL HAVE:
Relevant qualification in in toddlers and children’s ministry OR in another child related field (i.e. education)
Extensive knowledge and experience in toddler and children’s ministry.
An understanding of and commitment to the Mission and Values of The Salvation Army
A current driver’s licence
Complete compulsory training requirements with regards to children
Current Working with Children Check
