Do you have a zeal for evangelism, leadership skills, and a passion for camping ministry?
CRU has a fantastic opportunity for a gospel-minded person to come on board as the Director of CRU Holiday Camps.
Leading a wonderful team of staff and volunteers, you will be primarily responsible for ensuring CRU’s growing Holiday Camps ministry continues to provide safe, fun, Christian camps for school-aged kids. This will involve: recruiting, training and supporting camp directors for our diverse range of camps; overseeing the division’s processes before, during and after camps; managing the division’s budget; reviewing the division’s fruitfulness; and setting the strategic direction for CRU’s Holiday Camps division.
The Director of CRU Holiday Camps is above reproach in their Christian character, demonstrates high-level frontline ministry skills, and is capable of managing multiple tasks and projects in order to best advance the ministry of CRU Camps.
The Director of CRU Holiday Camps is a part of CRU’s Divisional Head group, and plays an important role in helping CRU to achieve the organisation’s overall aims.
CRU is a Bible-based, interdenominational Christian youth organisation whose vision is to proclaim the gospel of Jesus Christ to the students of the independent schools of Australia, to nurture Christians, encourage church membership and train young Christians for a life of servant leadership.
Experience in ministry, particularly Christian camping, as well as a leadership track record and organisational skills are essential.
