  • North Sydney NSW, Australia
Part time Marketing & Communications

Job Description

The Bible Society Australia Internship is a paid, part-time (two-days per week), one-year program designed to give young adults practical experience across our different teams and brands. Interns will contribute meaningfully to the work of Bible Society Australia; stretch themselves with a range of projects; and receive training, support, and mentoring from senior leaders within Bible Society, as well as the Internship Coordinator.

We are looking for interns who:

  • Are between the ages of 18 and 26
  • Have a passion for the Bible
  • Have the right to work in Australia
  • Are responsible and hardworking
  • Have a can-do attitude and are willing to jump outside their comfort zone and have a go at new tasks
  • Have good interpersonal skills, enabling them to work in a friendly and cooperative manner with others
  • Have strong organisational skills, high attention to detail and accuracy, and strong time-management skills
  • Have strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Adopt behaviour which is supportive of other colleagues irrespective of their race, gender, culture, or beliefs
  • Available on Wednesdays and can travel regularly to our head office in North Sydney.

Prior experience (or current studies) in marketing, communications, journalism, digital content, graphic design, video/audio production – and/or experience with Adobe Creative suite or WordPress would be an advantage but isn’t essential. A can-do attitude is more important than prior experience!

What does the program look like?

Interns will work alongside different teams and brands within Bible Society Australia, including: Missions, Marketing & Communications, Production, Fundraising, Publishing, Eternity News, Centre for Public Christianity (CPX), and Koorong.

As part of the year-long program, interns will have the opportunity to learn and take part in activities such as...
