Job Description

Do you have experience with relationship building in ministry? Are you looking for an opportunity to merge your professional skills with your heart to make the gospel global? Are you passionate about reaching the world for Christ by mass media so that lasting fruit is produced? Partnering together in Australia, TWR and SIM is looking to recruit a Ministry Engagement Representative.

The role of the TWR Ministry Engagement Representative primarily involves mobilising and engaging more people in Australia to connect with TWR ministries around the world. This will involve discovering, cultivating, and maintaining relationships with assigned and potential new ministry partners and donors. The role is a full-time position, and the successful applicant will be based out of their home office and/or out of the SIM Australia’s Sydney or Melbourne office.

TWR (Trans World Radio) is a global media organization that exists to reach the world for Jesus Christ by mass media. The ministry encompasses high-powered radio broadcasts, online streaming, portable media devices, satellite delivery, printed publications, mobile apps, and various digital platforms. Essential knowledge, skills and competencies

The successful candidate will have:

  • A heart to follow Jesus, participate in a church community and be fully committed to SIM Australia’s and TWR’s mission, core values and ‘Statement of Faith’
  • An ability to provide leadership as required and to think strategically
  • Ability to identify problems and develop proper responses that will solve or mitigate matters and develop appropriate policies.
  • An understanding of cross-cultural Christian mission
  • Good organisation skills, time management, and attention to detail.
  • Excellent communication skills, including persuasive negotiation and written communication.
  • Exemplary interpersonal skills, including the ability to network with people of diverse ages and backgrounds
  • Highly respected by your peers and home church regarding your Christian walk
  • Available to minister on Sundays at churches and events.
