About the Job:

As a Sales Manager, you’ll be driving a remit to sell print and digital media both directly with our clients as well as working as part of an established team. This role is part time (ideally 3 days per week). The location is flexible – we have employees across Australia, and are keen to secure experienced people with a range of skills that can work remotely as well as on the ground with our clients and team. This role is Melbourne – based.

A critical component of success in this role is relationship management – you must be able to demonstrate an ability to create meaningful and sustainable relationships with clients to ensure their needs are met and they receive an exceptional customer experience.

 

The role will also encompass a wide range of Sales functions:

  • Develop and deliver sales strategies and plans that deliver to our client’s objectives and the operationalisation of strategies into actions.
  • Analyse, track and report on sales activities to ensure efficient project delivery and produce reporting on campaigns and advertising.
  • Contribute to the planning, research, testing and implementation of marketing and fundraising strategies. using all types of media, including newsletters, print, video, web, social and digital media.
  • Drive the end-to-end sales lifecycle, including lead generation, prospecting, negotiating and closing deals and providing ongoing client support.
  • Participate in the preparation of sales proposals, tenders/bids, contracts and Account Management plans.
  • Undertake day-to-day sales activities, including weekly and fortnightly rhythms and reporting

 

About You:

 

You’re a focused individual and who enjoys performing your responsibilities to the highest level.

 

To be successful in this role, you’ll have:

 

  • A degree or equivalent experience in a similar role – qualifications in business, marketing, communications, or theology would also be an advantage.
  • Highly developed interpersonal and communication skills – a proven ability to build and sustain strong client and team relationships.
  • Strong organisational and time management skills, including excellent self-management and autonomy, and the ability to manage multiple competing priorities.
  • Ability to work well under pressure and meet deadlines.
  • Ability to work independently and also as part of a team, and an ability to influence both upwards and across the organisation.
  • Highly developed interpersonal and communication skills – a proven ability to build and maintain strong client and team relationships.
  • Ability to work well under pressure and to meet sales targets and deadlines.
  • A relatable nature, and a demonstrated understanding of the Christian not for profit charitable sector.
  • The ability to work within a Christian ethos and vision.
