HopeLINK is an incorporated body associated with Shed 19 (Gladstone Church of Christ) seeking to care for and build an inclusive community where people can heal, grow and succeed.
We are seeking a part-time hOPeSHOP Manager (25 hours per week) to provide supervision, oversight and management of the overall operations of the hOPeSHOP. The Manager is responsible for: recruiting, training and maintaining a group of volunteers for duties in the shop; maintaining volunteer morale and wellbeing; directing and assisting in the processing of donations of stock; overseeing pricing and sales; financial and governance matters; property maintenance; and building customer and church relationships. The hOPeSHOP is established with the intention to provide the local community with an affordable place to shop; a source of items available to help those in need in the local community; a safe area in the community to connect volunteers; a place for volunteers to grow and upskill; an opportunity to reduce waste and improve the environment; to raise funds to support HopeLINK.
