The Social Media Specialist will work alongside the yesHEis team responsible for reaching English speaking regions by engaging on the various social media platforms that are currently used as part of our strategy. Job Overview

As the Social Media Specialist for yesHEis You will be authoring, planning, producing, publishing and distributing content across social media channels to grow our audience engagement and, ultimately, our subscriber base.

You will assist the Marketing Manager in managing the various social media platforms used by yesHEis to promote the message of “life on mission” within the framework of yesHEis, CV mission & CV vision statement. 

Essential Responsibilities

  • To be successful in this role you live and breathe social platforms, and instinctively understand what a social audience likes (and dislikes).
  • You are constantly trawling all platforms and analysing trends.
  • A hands-on role, the Social Media Specialist needs to be a social media native, capable of delivering world-class social media content and using constantly evolving best-practice techniques.
  • Digital media doesn’t scare or slow you down. It accelerates you.
  • You understand the yesHeis message and are able to communicate that clearly
  • To manage the scheduling of social media posts
  • Copywriting & content production on native social media platforms as required.
  • To identify and engage key influencers and individuals on social media platforms to leverage engagement.
  • To assist the Marketing Manager to moderate and review content across various digital and social media platforms.
  • You’re a great team player, supporting your teammates and ‘jump in’ to get things done.
  • To collaborate with the Community Manager and Content Manager to develop and implement engagement activities.
  • Ability to design and develop systems for community response with the ability to handle exponential growth of enquiries.
  • Excellent planning and scheduling skills.
  • To adhere to relevant privacy requirements when maintaining and distributing database of contacts.

General Responsibilities

  • To represent CV in a positive manner.
  • To keep up to date with the latest methods and technologies.

Essential Skills/ Experience/ Education

  • Tertiary education or higher in the digital media space.
  • Proven track record of social media engagement.
  • Ability to present on camera
  • Team player and ability to work in a collaborative environment.
  • Good command of the English language both spoken and written.
  • Familiar with and active on all mainstream social media platforms.
  • Graphic Design experience advantageous.
  • Experience designing customer pathways and chatbots advantageous.
  • Demonstrated understanding of the Christian ethos.
