Shore is seeking to appoint an Assistant Chaplain ideally for the commencement of Term 3. The Assistant Chaplain is an integral member of the Chaplaincy Team, supporting the vision for the School’s Christian ministry and spiritual life. The Assistant Chaplain supports the Christian priority of the school, seeking to encourage the spiritual development and character formation of the students.
The Assistant Chaplain partners with the Chaplain in inspiring, engaging and providing relevant Christian Ministry through Chapel, Christian Studies classes, Pastoral care and the Christian community. As part of the Chaplaincy team, this role helps build the Christian community amongst students, staff, parents and Old Boys.
The Assistant Chaplain will work with the Chaplain and the Chaplaincy team to support the strategic vision of the School’s Christian Ministry and spiritual life.

The successful candidate will be a passionate and engaging educator who can communicate the Christian faith with humility, perseverance, courage and a love of others. Being an ordained minister of the Anglican Church could be advantageous.
