New Peninsula Baptist Church (NPBC) is a multi-campus church located on the Mornington Peninsula. We have campuses at Mount Martha and Rosebud, with numbers also now connecting with us online. We are an inclusive church which draws from the evangelical, congregational, and Pentecostal traditions. People from all people groups and ages call our church home. We we work collaboratively with New Peninsula Community Caring Incorporated (CCI) who provide appropriate responses to the needs we see in our community. As we come out of this Covid season we are seeking to make connection – with God, with each other and with our neighbours and local communities. We are looking for a faith-filled, passionate and mature Christian leader to take on the Business Manager role.
Basic Purpose of Scope of the Role
The purpose of this position is to provide a high level of financial support and management to NPBC, its members, staff and volunteers. This position is also seconded annually to CCI (including the Op Shop), to undertake their finance and administration work.
The Business Manager is accountable to the Senior Pastor of NPBC and the CCI General Manager (for CCI secondment purposes) and has the following staff reports;
