Lead Pastor

An exciting opportunity exists to teach, pastor, and lead this church in the North-Eastern Suburbs of Adelaide. We exist to bring Glory to God and Joy to the City by planting churches that make disciples who live out their new identity through community on mission.

CityReach Oakden employs over 10 staff and has extensive operations with numerous small groups, and various ministries to children, families, youth, young adults, men, women and the mature. Church planting is core to the mission and three independent congregations have been planted over the past seven years as well as the establishment of a church planting network. We also have a ministry through Cedar College which the church founded in 1997.

CityReach Oakden is seeking a Pastor, under God, who will:

• Prayerfully craft and preach biblical sermons that feed the people of CityReach Oakden and beyond, and mentor and train other preachers
• Lead the church planting strategy
• Grow the culture of evangelism, training, discipleship and pastoral care
• Equip and lead the ministry staff team
• Cast a vision for the next stage of God’s work at CityReach Oakden
