Women’s Student Advisor

We are seeking a part-time (7.6 hours per week) Women’s Student Advisor to work with female Bible college students at Brisbane School of Theology (BST). These hours would preferably be done over 2 days.

Brisbane School of Theology is a Bible-centred, interdenominational training college preparing Christians for mission and ministry for nearly 80 years. We are an evangelical college, our core values and beliefs are shaped by the gospel of Jesus Christ. Our community is made up of Christians from different cultures, ages and denominations.

The Women’s Student Advisor will be responsible for:

• Scheduling regular one-on-one advisory meetings with female students.
• Advising on academic progress and course planning for an accredited course.
• Encouraging spiritual and personal growth of students.
• Reviewing students’ church involvement and experience.
• Discussing future aspirations and options.

Qualifications, Experience & Personal Skills

• Strong commitment to the Christian faith and scripture.
• Theological degree preferable.
• Experience in supporting women.
• Demonstrated capacity to work well as part of a team.
