Level 1/2 IT Support

We have a fantastic opportunity for an experienced Level 1/2 Support Officer to join our high performing IT Operations team. This position will involve the ongoing Support and deployment of IT systems within Koorong and the Bible Society Australia family, as well as the chance to contribute with exciting new projects.

You have a passion for IT Operations. You have a desire to build solutions that solve real problems as we work together to achieve our strategic goals. You are always up to date with the latest in technology, are a creative problem solver and ready to take on new challenges big or small.

Responsibilities will include:

• Supporting level 1 helpdesk
• Proactively assisting helpdesk queries
• Troubleshooting hardware/software and network issues
• Hardware/Software deployment and Management (Point of Sale, PC/Mac, Mobile devices)

Key Criteria:

You will need to demonstrate a knowledge and experience in the following areas to be successful:

• Windows Server environments (AD/GPO/DFS/DNS/DHCP etc.)
• Knowledge of Microsoft 365 and On-Prem Exchange
• OneDrive and MS Teams Folder sharing
• Knowledge of Backup and recovery technologies
• Knowledge of storage devices such as NAS/SAN technologies
• Understanding of Networking (TCP IP / DNS/ DHCP etc.)
• Incident management, change management as well as problem management
• Strong time management skills
• Friendly customer focused communication skills
• Preferable two years' experience working in an IT support/helpdesk environment.

Applicants will need to be eager to learn and adapt to emerging technologies. They will be task focused, demonstrate good organisational skills, be prepared to work under pressure and have the ability to become rapidly familiar with an operational environment.
