Youth and Children's Pastor at Dubbo Baptist Church

Dubbo Baptist Church is seeking a full time Youth and Children’s Pastor to lead and develop our Youth and Children’s Ministries. We are a church with a broad range of age groups we also have many children and adolescents as part of our church community. Children and Youth ministry has grown strongly over the past six years and we anticipate a season of healthy growth ahead.

Key Responsibilities

• Oversight of the Youth and Children’s programs of the Church.
• Lead teams to serve in our Youth and Children’s ministries.
• Connect with our local community and seek ways to engage them with the ministries of the Church.

Key Competencies

• Excellent interpersonal skills with both adults and children.
• Ability to lead, equip and encourage a team of volunteers.
• Good communication skills.
• A clear understanding of the Gospel.
• Ability to communicate Biblical truths with youth and children.

Criteria

• Good Character (including a vibrant walk with Jesus)
• Resonate with DBC culture at DBC (including agreement with NSW Baptist Statement of Faith)
• Competence and experience in Youth and/or Children’s Ministry
• Compliance to DBC Safe Churches policy and requirements.
